Privacy Policy

PythFeeds (“PythFeeds”, “we”, “us”) is a real-time market-data and portfolio-tracking application for crypto, stocks, metals, commodities and forex, powered by the Pyth Network oracle. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our public API, and our iOS and Android apps.

PythFeeds is non-custodial. We never take custody of your crypto assets, and we never receive, store or have access to your wallet’s private keys or seed phrase. Swaps and other on-chain actions are signed locally by your own wallet.

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the product:

• Wallet address. When you connect a Solana wallet, we use its public address as your identity to store your watchlist, portfolio entries and alerts. A public address is not, by itself, personally identifying.
• Account details (optional). If you sign in with Google or email, we store the associated email address and basic profile fields, plus passkey credentials if you register one.
• App data you create. Watchlists, portfolio holdings, price alerts, poll votes and saved preferences.
• Push notification tokens. If you enable price-alert notifications in the mobile app, we store the device push token so we can deliver your alerts.
• API keys. If you create a developer API key, we store a one-way hash of the key (never the key itself) plus request counts for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Diagnostics & usage. Aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics and anonymous crash/error reports to keep the app reliable.

We do not collect your private keys, seed phrases, or the contents of transactions you sign in your own wallet.

• Provide core features — live prices, watchlists, portfolios and alerts.
• Deliver price-alert push notifications to your devices.
• Authenticate developer API requests and enforce fair rate limits.
• Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve performance and reliability.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

To deliver market data and features, the app communicates with third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Pyth Network / Hermes — real-time oracle prices.
• Market & news data providers — market cap, volume, supply and headlines.
• Solana RPC & DEX aggregators (e.g. Jupiter) — to read balances and route non-custodial swaps you initiate.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging / APNs — to deliver mobile push notifications.
• Google Analytics — aggregated usage statistics.
• AI providers — to generate optional market summaries and analysis; we send market context, not your private account data.

We use cookies and browser/device local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme and currency), and measure aggregate usage. You can clear this data at any time through your browser or device settings; some features may not work without it.

• Disconnect your wallet or sign out at any time to stop new data from being associated with you.
• Revoke an API key instantly from the Developers page.
• Disable push notifications from your device settings to remove the stored push token.
• Request deletion of your stored data (watchlists, portfolio, alerts, account) by contacting us — see below.

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

We use HTTPS everywhere, hash sensitive credentials, and apply rate limiting and other safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit what we collect in the first place.

PythFeeds is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
